Vintage Wedding

These soft and pretty flowers were done for a vintage

themed wedding, the pictures don't do them justice....

I love them so much I've decided to have them for my own

wedding this April!

Coral Peonies

Alaina was lucky enough to get married this November, when peonies are in full swing. I considered planning my own wedding around this time just so I could have peonies too! Alaina looked so relaxed and the cream and coral colours worn by the attendants all tie in so beautifully.

Brides are always looking for flower arrangement ideas for thier reception tables, often it is difficult to imagine what the whole room will look like once all the finishing touches are in place. Most people opt for something low when it comes to centre pieces, which is a good idea so that your guests can see each other when they are talking.

Cheap wedding posies

Just because you don't want to spend alot of money on your wedding doesn't mean you can't have nice flowers. If you don't have a particular flower in mind then leaving it up to your florist and seasonal availibility, could be an option for you! Nice mixed flowers of the moment would be chosen for you, to match your budget and colour theme....similar posies like this would only be $40-$50!

The compact cube

These ceramic cubes are a beautiful idea for round or square tables at a reception. For better impact on a table, the flowers are quite compact and not too much greenery is used. Four glass tea lights at each corner on a square of rock salt or flower petals would create the ambience to finish the design.

Long table arrangments

These cute herb planter pots are a simple idea for table

centres if the tables are rectangular.

Three square cubes come on their own ceramic tray in

either black or white. They look great with a formation of four

roses sitting head to head in each cube, like a bed of roses...

.....how romantic!

Angela and Troys Wedding

First wedding of the season.......

Angela and Troy chose red roses, red tulips and green cymidium

orchids for their red themed wedding day on Saturday 29th August.
Angela told me everyone commented on the flowers......

the combination did look quite stunning.

The plum tree

I have been waiting in anticipation for the fruit trees

to blossom, and then they did! Out of the blue with

not a hint of any warning , its funny how these things

sneak up on you. What a nice suprise!

Spring posies

I thought this was a cute idea for brides getting married

around this time of year and trying to save money on their

wedding flowers. Yellow is not my favourite colour but

jonquills and freesias would be nice in a dome with long stems

aswell. These Daffidol bouquets I made were less than $30 each!

Moth Orchids

The stunning Phalaenopsis orchids photograph so

beautifully, even an amateur can take great snaps! It's

no wonder so many brides choose the most expensive

wedding flower for their big day. They make such good

close ups, I'd like to make a mosaic out of them.

They would also make a great canvas in a contemporary

or Asian themed room!
