My Wedding!

The rain stopped just in time for Ian and I to tie the knot in a cute fairy forest in Mangawhai Heads. The cutest flower-girls in the world released monach butterflies and the sun came out right after the ceremony to shine through the trees, it was really magical. We had a soft pink vintage theme to go with my favourite antique roses and on the tables a mix of cute crystal vases and mis-matched vintage teacups. James and Eleanor of Jel Photography took all our beautiful wedding shots which I was absolutely over the moon with. You can see most of them on their blog http://www.jelphoto.co.nz/

Pretty Pastels

These pretty posies were made with 2 different shades of lilac roses, white lisianthus and white phalaenopsis orchids with deep pink centres. The orchids looked like little butterflies that had landed on the flowers.

Mango Calla's

Kylie, the bride for this wedding, carried an arm sheaf of mango calla lillies, bear grass and aspidestria leaves. The brides maids had domed bouquets with grass loops throughout. Bottles of single calla lilies ran down the length of the tables and single lily buttonholes for the boys!

Burgandy Calla Lilies

Calla lilies are always an effective but simple option for wedding bouquets and they work out to be cost effective too! They look great with greenery at the edge or without and their stems are such a lovely green it's nice to leave them out on show.

Rustic Themed Wedding Flowers

This rustic themed wedding was held at a winery in Kumeu. Christina and Jon chose antique hydrangeas in little jam jars and glass bottles. The bridal bouquets were a simple ball of hydrangea with viburnum berries at the base to go with deep blue/black bridesmaid dresses. The buttonholes and corsages were made of green lisianthus and berries.

Shades of pink

Lincoln and Katherina got married at long Bay beach on the Northshore of Auckland. It was a lovely evening wedding, the ceremony at sunset. The bridesmaids wore vibrant purple to go with these roses in shades of pink, purple and white.
