New addition

Only a week to go until I pop!

Very exciting!!

However, it will mean Vidabela will have to take a back seat for 6-8 weeks. If you have any queries you can email them through, it just might take me a little longer to get back to you. Or if you would like a consultation I will be taking them again from the beginning of August.... Sorry about the inconvenience!

Warmest, Dee

Champagne and Cream

Last wedding for the season.....it's time for myself now as I approach 3rd trimester of my pregnancy. It has been a lovely season though, looking back. Alot of really soft and pretty themes. "Vintage" and the "just been picked from the garden" look being requested alot.

Lynn chose lovely champagne 'vendella' roses for her bouquet, mixed with White hydrangea and lisianthus and soft grey lambs ear foliage.

Seasonal Whites

Champagne and white roses were the main theme for this wedding amongst other white and green beautiful seasonal blooms. Kate opted for some contempary small vases with roses inside on all of the tables, the gazebo was decorated with flowers on each side of the entrance (picture above) and tall vases of flowers adorned the reception.

Something a little different

Lisa chose a posy of 'blackmagic' red roses with white roses surrounding them. It was something I had never seen before but the design turned out to be quite beautiful in real life. Her bridesmaids each carried a reconstructed white rose and she went traditional for the tables.

Baby Blues

Binnari's wedding was held at a beautiful church in Birkenhead, we adorned the place with flowers and candles in every corner including all the pews, it looked amazing! Blues and whites were the theme of the day, flowers of many varieties and wide pillar candles in the centre of all the table arrangements.

Soft Lilac and white

These soft lilac roses are the perfect shape and colour for the "iketo" roses which happen to be the whitest rose on the Auckland market. However, put it next to a white dress and it looks more like cream. People don't realise that there isn't a pure white rose out there and it can make colour decisions really tough, especially if you have opted for a white dress!

Wild Lilacs

Viburnum berries, roses, freesias, tracelium, lavender, hydrangea and hebe make up this pretty posy of wild flowers. be-au-ti-ful!

Vintage pink and white

Roses with lisianthus, hydrangea and lisianthus are becoming quite a common theme for wedding flowers these days. In this bouquet are the gorgeous and scented vintage pink roses called 'something special', and for a bit of a slender trail down the front, some green vinca vine. Flower wands are also becoming a popular choice for flowergirls with trailing ribbons. They come in 2 sizes; the small has 3 mini rose buds and large has 7 buds, glitter can also be added.... the little ones love it!

Summer posies

White and pink roses, white lisianthus and green hydrangea makes a lovely bright combination. The bridemaids had the same but in white however my camera ran out of batteries!

Long Stemmed Roses

Choosing longer stemmed roses for bouquets often means you don't need so many of them to make a statement, which also means it becomes a lot cheaper! You could even cut costs by having this design only for the brides maids and having something more substantial for the Brides bouquet. They look great aswell, held more up and down rather than facing forwards like you would with a shorter fuller posy.
