Angela and Trent's wedding

Ange and Trent got married at the zoo, a beautiful setting for a gorgeous wedding! The flowers were a pretty garden look including scented lavender and freesias with roses and mixed coloured lisiathus. The bridal bouquet looked stunning with her slightly pink lacey dress and the tables had crystal vases of flowers dotted down the middle.

Soft and pretty

I would have to say that this has been the most popular wedding for the season in 2010. Roses and Lizzies made into a base of hydrangea. It is such a soft, pretty look if your going for mixed flowers.

Hydrangea Weddings

Hydrangea has become a very popular choice for wedding flowers recently, although people sometimes think of it as an old fashioned flower, it has definatly made a huge come back over the last few years. They make a cheap but effective choice for bouquets, they are so large, very few stems are used to create something full and round. Other flowers can be added for interest such as roses and lisianthus. This green antique hydrangea pictured, is the effect of what happens to white hydrangeas as they come towards the end of their season.

Domed Roses

Vandella is the creamy almost champagne coloured rose in this picture and Alicia is the name of the pretty pink one.
Rose domes are sometimes hard for brides to pass up, they are such a classic look and go with almost every wedding theme and style....... as long as the colour is right!

Kirstys Wedding

Kirsty decided on lime green hydrangeas, white lisianthus and white freesias for her wedding day. She is not a rose person and so decided on freesias instead just like her mum had in her wedding bouquets. Pretty and fragrant!

Georgina and Brents Wedding

Brents Aunty supplied him and Georgina with these beautiful blush phalaenopsis orchids from her nursery. She truly does the nicest orchids I've ever seen and so many different and unusual varieties, I will be using her for all my future weddings!
I put them together with some lovely soft gray lambs ear foliage (one of my personal favourites) George was over the moon at how they turned out and they looked gorgeous against her dress.

Kirsties Wedding

Kirstie wanted a bright but feminine, wild look for her bridal flowers. Her bouquets were not too structured and perfect, with ivy trails wrapped around and looped through. Her bouquet had a few ivy trails at the front to differ slightly from the bridesmaids. I think the pretty mauve Phalaenopsis orchids really made this design!
