Something a little different...

This wedding was a little different in that the brides maids posies were quite different to the brides. Deep blue hydrangea for the brides maids were to tie in with the royal blue shoes which were worn by all. The bride went for something softer with peach lisianthus and 'talea' roses, white hydrangea and 'brownie' roses.

Flowers from the meadow

These gorgeous wedding bouquets were made with many varieties of flowers to give a wild flower look and feel, as if they were picked from a meadow. The brides bouquet was mostly white with a touch of orange and green. The brides maids salmon, white and green.
The flowers were a mix of viburnum, peonies, roses, freesias, ornithogalins and angelica.

High Tea Wedding

You have got to love a wedding which is a little different! This gorgeous wedding was set in the middle of the day for an afternoon tea reception to follow! Cupcakes, sandwiches and beautifully presented treats were served on vintage plates and platters  next to jars and jugs of freshly picked flowers much like a high tea. The wedding posies were a stunning mix of parrot tulips, freesias, ranunculas, roses and lisianthus with lush lambs ear foliage in champagne and white. Photo's were taken by the amazing James and Ellie of Jel Photography, www.jelphoto.co.nz

Dusky pink and white wedding

Dusky pink and white roses mixed with white hydrangea and white lisianthus with lambs ear...the classic summer posy. This design is so popular I make it around 3 times each season for different weddings. You can see why with it's very soft blooms and foliage it enhances the most romantic of all weddings. Cutest wedding ever!

I just love all the delicious details of this beautiful wedding! The reception was held at the old elephant house at the Auckland zoo. Tables were adorned with colourful letters hanging over cute clusters of pastel flowers. The letters spelled out the name of the bride and groom..."EMMA & DANIEL" The flowers were mixed pastel shades of Lisianthus, Roses and lambs ear with cute stripey and spotted ribbon to finish off the whimsical theme.
All the amazing photography above was shot by James and Ellie of Jel Photography. They specialise in weddings and thier work is always stunning! You can check them out at www.jelphoto.co.nz

Romantic wedding flowers

Vintage pink roses, white lisianthus, hydrangea and lambs ear make up this dreamy combination for a romantic themed wedding. This is one of the many weddings this year I have done which include 4 brides maids in the wedding party, it seems to be the new trend this year....more is more!

Pastel pinks and apricots

This domed posy was made from lisianthus, roses and hydrangea. The brides maids had the same bouquets as the bride. The reception was at Duders of Devonport, soft pinks and apricot posies in squatt cylinders with rose petal surround.
